Sarah Slifer / Maida Withers
Nevertheless … Tenderness: The dance is post modern in style, but with depth of feeling as the dance is simply about a mature woman and a young woman dancing together today with all the nuances of meaning therein. As in many of Withers works, there is a sensuality and beauty laced with many layers including her wit and humor and interest in sudden unexplainable change. Maida Withers
