One of Stacy’s memorable performances was in the work, Stone Ring, with world-renowned experimental vocalist, Marilia.  Stacy always contributed not only physical passion, but intrigue regarding the content/concept of the works.  Stacy was a scholar as well as performer.

Stacy participated with Dance Construction Company performances on stage, Rolling Thunder, and on-site as part of International Artists for Ecology for the first United Nation’s Earth Summit, Eco ’92, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  This included performing with Maida Withers and the Dance Construction Company in the National Theatre, Brasilia, Brazil for the opening of the OMAME PROJETO.  In Rio de Janeiro, Stacy participated in dance improvisations on Sugar Loaf Mountain with other international artists…performing tributes to planet Earth.  Stacy performed in Issues of Gender, a controversial performance in several exhibitions about gender in what is known as Arlington, Virginia  Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

Stacy Palatt Interviewed Maida Withers regarding her interest and involvement with Dance and Technology.  Stacy was pursuing her PhD at Temple University at the time. Dance and technology interview:
