Tea Schiano, a multi-disciplinary artist, received her early training at the Art Student’s League of New York City in the late 1960’s and received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MA in Art Therapy and art Education from the University of New Mexico. Schiano’s work is influenced by nature, science, and diverse cultures. Schiano has received awards for her environmental installations and is currently working on global particapatory art projects, including the global acid rain project which unites communities worldwide in collaborative art projects.
