State of the Art:  original version danced by Costa Rican dancers sponsored by U.S. Department of State to study in DC at GWU. State of the Art was choreographed by Maida Withers and performed by Costa Rican and USA dancers.

Lorena Cervantes earned a B.A. in Dance at the National University of Costa Rica.  She performed with the UNA Dance Company for five years under George Ramarez’s direction.  She choreographed and performed at the National University of Costa Rica.  Lorena danced for Dana Tai Soon Burgess’ Moving Forward Dance Company.  She is a dance education specialist with Wolf Trap in Virginia.
