Mark Thompson
Dancer who performed, often in the 1990’s with Maida Withers Dance Construction Company and performed may duets with Maida Withers.
Mark is a native of Los Angeles, California, where he received his dance training in ballet and modern dance techniques. In Washington, DC Mark was pursuing his interests in the movement theories of the Feldenkrais Method. Mark performed brilliantly with Maida in Earth Spirit Rising and other earth related works. Maida considered “Mark as one of the most engaging and uniquely brilliant performers.” March 1990
