Alexander (Sasha) Kukin

Sasha Kukin (dancer) is dancer and choreographer and Artistic Director of the Sasha Kukin Dance Company, St. Petersburg, the first professional modern dance company founded in Russia, 1991. He has created over 30 works for his company and several works for plays and musicals in Russia. He has received many awards and prizes for choreography, and his dance company has performed in several cities in Russia, and in Estonia, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, and Sweden. Kukin has received awards to the United States where he has choreographed, taught, and performed in Colorado, Washington, DC, and New York City.
