Performática is an international contemporary dance and movement arts forum based in Cholula, Puebla, Mexico, primarily associated with the Universidad de Amercas Puebla & UDLAP.  It acts as a hub for international exchange, featuring workshops, performances, and roundtable discussions focused on bodily expession and movement philosophy.
In 2009 MWDCCO, Maida Withers, choreographer/dancer, Steve Hilmy, composer/musician, Ayo Okunseinde, interactive technical, were artists performing FareWell to the End of the World or Dancing Your Way to Paradise (see dance information under that name in the archive). Linda Lewett, filmmaker, traveled with MWDCCO for the 2009 program to document stage and site performances, and develop a documentary on Performatica.  https://www.performatica.org/   (29:20)

Taped in Cholula, Mexico during Performática: International Forum of Contemporary Dance and the Art of Movement in 2009. Co-Founders/Co-Directors: Mayra Morales & Ray Eliot Schwartz. Hosted at the Universidad de las Américas Pueblo (UDLAP), and Complejo Cultural Universitario (CCU) de las Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). Co-produced with Maida Withers Dance Construction Company. (I deleted one dance that had copyrighted music so this should play with No ads!).
