1977 – Smithsonian Resident Associate Program and the Modern Dance Council of Washington and the Washington Performing Arts Society sponsor invitation to the Dance, an adult lecture series incorporates performances, lecture/demonstration, and lectures by George Gelles, dance critic, Washington Star 1970-76, and Maida Withers, Associate Professor of Dance, The George Washington University.
