Colyer studied theatre design in the MFA Program at George Washington University. Todd retired in 2008 following a twenty-year career as stage manager with the United states Army Band, where his duties also included set and lighting design. He currently serves as production coordinator/stage manager at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts where he has served as lighting designer for the annual Wolf Trap Associates’ Ball for the past two years. While at GWU, he served as scenic designer for “The Falling Man” (2006), and “Double Bill” (2006), and as lighting designer for “Working” (2007) and “Baby with the Bathwater” (2009). Todd has been associated with Maida Withers and the Dance Construction Company since 2008.
