Vitalii Sozoniuk

Vitalii Sozoniuk (dancer) graduated from the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts (2006) and the Ukraine School of Modern Dance (2000). Vitalii has danced and acted for the “Free Stage” theater since 2004 and coordinated performing arts projects for the “TanzLaboratorium” dance-theatre in 2001. He is a member of the Association of Urgent Dance (Ukraine) and co-founder of Ukrainian Association of Contemporary Dance (2003). Vitalii has performed and worked with choreographers Douglas Dunn (USA), Gwen Weilver (USA); Miguel Gutierrez (USA), Andrea Haenggi (USA). Vitalii teaches and performs contact improvisation. He has been trained by dance specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, France, New York, San Francisco, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, and Holland. Vitalii has attended several festivals and workshops including TSEH Summer School of Contemporary Dance (2002, 2003, 2004, Moscow) and Open Look Contemporary Dance Festival School (2003, St. Petersburg).
