Orbit (Film Short 3:30)

Original Performance on April 29, 1990

1990 – Orbit, an intriguing duet danced by Tim Harling and Eddie Taketa, filmed during the early period framed by the HIV and AIDS crisis.  The film is an excerpt from the evening-length stage work, Obsession.  Love of men for each other is the opening segment in the dance.  This duet is a very short version of a longer dance in the stage work:  http://vimeo.com/8054192.

What the press is saying

"The dynamic between two dancers is beautifully captured by a camera that weaves around their bodies. A brief and sensuous video about movement and imagery." Washington Showcase
