Dance Collective – Group Improvisation

Uncategorized

Maida Withers invited dancers to join a group, Dance Collective, 1972, with the intention to explore improvisation and group experiments in process in creating works and making and performing various dance performances (spontaneous performances in public spaces, events planned and promoted, other).  This, of course, was not an exclusive group/company but an open structure for dancers open to unique ways of moving in dance and as a group.
