2014 – Maida Withers, Artistic Director, Maida Withers Dance Construction Company, and GW Professor presents “Forty Years in the TRENCHES in Washington, DC” for the Center of Creative Economy’s Communal Table Discussion,  on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Busboys and Poets, 14^th and V Street NW, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.  Attendees were encouraged to bring laptops and questions. Maida discussed the changes and influences she has experienced during her forty years as an innovative artists and professor of dance in Washington, DC (Howard University and George Washington University.)
