Dance of the Auroras – Drums and Percussion
Started playing drums at the age of eight in a marching band in Norway. At the age of 19 he entered the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass, where he studied for two and a half years. Back in Oslo he started working as a session musician. Since then he has participated on more than a hundred albums mostly with Norwegian artists and bands and touring with several, including Randy Crawford, Sidsel Endresen, Rick Danco, Oystein Sevag, Sissel Kyrkjeboe, Bendik Hofseth and Bugge Wesseltoft. For the last five years Arnesen’s main project has been recording and touring around the world with ECM artist Nils Peter Molvaer.
