2001 – (November 29 to December 9) International multi-disciplinary annual festival in Washington, DC that is curated by Washington, DC artists – dancers and musicians. The festival brings together groups and individual dance artists, performance artists, musicians locally and internationally to perform and teach workshops related to the art of improvisation. The DC 7th Festival was sponsored, in part, by the generous donations of Anthony Hyatt, Jim Levy, and Maida Withers Dance Construction Company.
